Abstract

Bullying students in schools is one of the three great sins of education. This is the concern of researchers to conduct this research. The purpose of this research is to show how teacher learning strategies can reduce student bullying. With a case study design, descriptive qualitative research used is observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation is the method used to collect data. Data is reduced, presented, and analyzed by drawing conclusions. Member checks, technical triangulation, and source triangulation are methods used to verify data validity. The research was conducted at a public elementary school in Mojokerto Regency which involved 3 teachers who taught grade 5, namely Class Teachers, Religious Education Teachers and PJOK Teachers and 23 Grade V students. This research was conducted on December 7, 2022. The research results found that the methods used by classroom educators to deal with bullying in schools are 1) planning with teachers and student guardians, 2) instilling Pancasila values, 3) innovation in learning, and 4) using directing and directing administration. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that strategies for dealing with student bullying work best when parents work well together to deal with it.

Abstract

The problem formulation of this researcher is what is the role of the school environment in the formation of student character at Public Elementary School No. 145 Bayowa Presidential Instruction in Takalar Regency. This researcher aims to find out how the role of the school environment plays in the formation of student character at Public Elementary School No. 145 Bayowa Presidential Instruction in Takalar Regency. This type of research uses qualitative research, in this research the data collection instruments used are in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction, data presentation and decision making or verification. The results of this study indicate that the role of the school environment in the formation of student character at Public Elementary School No. 145 Inpres Bayowa in Takalar Regency with indicators of teacher and school principal discipline always advises and teaches students to always come on time and do assignments on time, obey the rules orderly school and maintain cleanliness because when there are students who violate school rules, arrive late and do not maintain cleanliness, they will be punished/rewarded with sanctions. Whereas on honest indicators the teacher and principal always teach students to always have an honest attitude, the teacher always reminds students before doing assignments in class not to copy the work of their friends and the teacher also conveys to students if they get students to copy the work of their friends then students are ready to accept the consequences that given by the teacher while on the indicators of responsibility the teacher and principal always provide support and appreciation to students so that students have good responsibilities.

Abstract

The background of this research is the students' cognitive decline in social studies at SMPN 1 Ngantru Tulungagung. The learning method applied still uses conventional methods, namely the lecture method. When learning takes place, not many students feel bored or bored with what the teacher says. The researcher formulated the research focus as follows: 1) What is the Preparation Stage for Using the Problem Solving Method in Improving the Cognitive Aspects of Grade VIII Students at SMPN 1 Ngantru Tulungagung, 2) What is the Process of Using the Problem Solving Method in Improving Cognitive Aspects of Students in Social Studies Learning in Class VIII at SMPN 1 Ngantru Tulungagung, 3) What are the Results of Using the Problem Solving Method in Improving Students' Cognitive Aspects in Social Studies Learning in Class VIII of SMPN 1 Ngantru Tulungagung. The purpose of this research is to describe the preparation, use, and results of using problem solving methods at SMPN 1 Ngantru Tulungagung to improve students' cognitive aspects. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, using data collection methods of in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification.

Abstract

This research is motivated by phenomena from the results of the researchers' initial observations about the implementation of Islamic religious education learning in mentally retarded children that the authors see. The PAI teacher in the SLB is only a general PAI teacher who has no special education for the SLB teaching profession, in the lesson plan designed in the RPP it has not been fully implemented according to plan, in the learning process it is difficult for the teacher to explain and convey material because every child must be served in a way different due to the different abilities of students, the unavailability of Islamic religious education learning books for children with special needs. This study aims to find out how to plan Islamic religious education for mentally retarded children at SMPLB Class VIII at Special School (SLB) Negeri 1 Bukittinggi and to find out how the learning process for Islamic religious education for mentally retarded children at Class VIII SMPLB at Special Schools ( SLB) Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. This study uses field research that is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data in this study by means of interviews, observation and documentation. This study used 2 informants, namely Islamic Education teachers at SMPLB level as key informants and school heads as supporting informants. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of PAI learning has gone well according to the plan, but the core activities are not too based on the lesson plans that have been made.

Abstract

Literacy is the ability to read and write. Even so, the notion of literacy can still be developed further, because literacy which only consists of reading, writing and arithmetic is now not enough, but must also include reading and writing as previously mentioned, numeracy literacy, scientific literacy, financial literacy, information and communication as well as cultural literacy and citizenship. This article aims to evaluate the implementation of the School Literacy Movement program at SMAN 1 Kualuh Selatan Labuhan Batu Utara. This type of research is descriptive evaluation research where data is collected mainly through surveys, namely interviews, observation and distribution of questionnaires to research subjects.

Abstract

A school with character is a school that does not only focus on academic achievement, but also on building positive student character. The strategy for creating a school with character must involve all stakeholders, including students, teachers, parents and school staff. This article shows that there are several strategies that must be implemented by school principals in terms of creating a school with character, the first is to form a character team consisting of teachers, parents, and students to create a positive and supportive school culture, the second is to integrate the values character in the curriculum and learning in the classroom, the third provides good examples in everyday life to inspire students, the fourth provides space and time for students to participate in extracurricular and social activities, and the last provides support and guidance for students in need

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of curriculum changes at SDN 01 Pandasari, Warungasem District, Batang Regency, Central Java Province on the quality of education and student learning outcomes. The research method used was interviews with teachers, principals, and parents of students as respondents. Interview data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques, such as thematic analysis. In addition, secondary data from the documentation was also collected to gain a more complete understanding of curriculum changes and their impact on the quality of education and student learning outcomes. The results of the research show that curriculum changes have a positive impact on the quality of education and student learning outcomes, but also pose a number of challenges that need to be addressed. Efforts that have been made to overcome these challenges include teacher training and development, improving school facilities, and increasing communication with students' parents.

Abstract

Single parent women have multiple activities and responsibilities towards their families. So that in fulfilling their needs of family life, single parent women must be able to balance their domestic and public affairs, especially when they are working. The job they are chosen is a job with high time flexibility, one of which is by becoming an online motorcycle driver. they meet various people every day, friends from a basecamp, from customers and parties they meet and their activities in order to get sustenance for the needs of their family life. The purpose of this study was to find out the rational choice of single parent women to become online motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses rational choice theory by james coleman. The results of this study indicate that single parent women working as online motorcycle drivers have their own way of dividing time for domestic and public activities, and have many friends

Abstract

The Covid - 19 pandemic is a disaster that occurs quickly and thoroughly. This pandemic affects not only health, but also the economic, cultural, social and political education fields. The existence of the Covid - 19 pandemic makes people live in conditions of risk. Society will face terrible threats such as the spread of viruses and other threats. The consequences of the emergence of the Covid - 19 virus have caused social anxiety in society. This raises serious concern because this virus is increasingly spreading, including in areas where there are few positive confirmed cases of Covid - 19 itself. There are so many threats of Covid 19 that great attention is needed for the perception of own risk in decision making. The current situation shows that society has become a risky society. Where people are at risk themselves are vulnerable people. Community life will be colored by risks that can affect society. This article tries to analyze the context of the covid - 19 pandemic in at-risk communities by using a sociological perspective of at-risk communities, especially in the covid - 19 pandemic. This Covid - 19 pandemic also shows that society is not ready to face the Covid 19 disaster which occurred as a whole and not a single country that can avoid the impact of Covid - 19. Abstract

Based on the observations and experiences of researchers at SMK Negeri 1 Cidaun, especially the Freshwater Fisheries Agribusiness expertise program, student motivation in participating in the learning process is still very low. The purpose of this study was to increase students' learning motivation by using the method of giving pre-learning structured assignments. The research was conducted using three cycles of classroom action research in class XII APAT of SMK Negeri 1 Cidaun in the 2022/2023 academic year. Based on the results of observations, it is known that there is an increase in student learning motivation in each learning cycle that is carried out. This is shown by the increasing percentage of positive activities carried out by students in participating in learning.
